Our client was sexually assaulted on the job by her manager.  We handled her workers' compensation claim to pay for her psychological treatment and filed suit in federal court for sexual harassment, discrimination under Title VII.  We negotiated a six figure settlement that allowed her to move on with her life.  This case was the first case financed by the Times Up Defense Fund in Louisiana, after we submitted an application on the client's behalf.  The Times Up Defense Fund paid for a portion of the attorneys fees as well as arranged for the client to meet with a public relations team that was engaged to strategically put pressure on the employer to settle.
