QALICB Counsel to Project King, LLC and key investors in connection with: (i) the acquisition and development of a 56,000 sq. ft. historic building into a flagged Hotel Indigo in Baton Rouge, LA (the "Project"), utilizing state and federal new markets tax credits (NMTC) and federal and state historic tax credits (HTC), (ii) exit of the NMTC and HTC investors, and (iii) sale of the Project to a third party. 

QALICB Counsel to Kress Levy Manager, LLC in connection with: (i) the acquisition and development of a 65,000 sq. ft. historic building into a flagged Hilton Hotel, ground level retail and condominiums (the "Project"), utilizing tax increment financing (TIF), state and federal new markets tax credits (NMTC) and federal and state historic tax credits (HTC), (ii) exit of the NMTC and HTC investors, and (iii) sale of the Project to a third party. 

Counsel to Project Manager in connection with entity formation and negotiation of the developer entity and project management fees in connection with the management of several low-income housing projects backed by low-income housing bonds. 

Counsel to the Lender, Bond Purchaser and Tax Credit Investor in connection with $10,000,000 NMTC and GO Zone Revenue Bonds, to develop a new headquarters and packaging facility on France Road Parkway in the Port of New Orleans. 

Counsel to the Borrower in connection with $23,400,000 Louisiana Public Facilities Authority Taxable Revenue Refunding Bonds (University of New Orleans Research and Technology Foundation, Inc. – Student Housing Project), Series 2023 (the “Series 2023 Bonds”). 

Counsel to a national timeshare management company in connection with a successful application for state and local restoration tax abatement (RTAs) that saved the client approximately $900,000 in state and local property taxes. 

Counsel to Purchaser in connection with: (i) $15,000,000 Hurricane Recovery Revenue Bond, Series 2022 of LaFourche Parish Hospital Service District No.1, (ii) $10,200,000 Louisiana Community Development Authority University of Louisiana Lafayette/ Ragin' Cajun Facilities Inc. Project, Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2017 

Counsel to the Lender and Tax Credit Purchaser in connection with a$10,000,000 NMTC and HTC transaction, to develop a mixed-use hotel project in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Counsel to Co-placement Agent in connection with the placement of $15,000,000 USDA guaranteed bonds and $10,000,000 unguaranteed bonds to finance the development of a biosuccinic acid facility in Lake Providence, Louisiana.
